Jorge Ortega - gay painter

Artist's statement:

I´m a painter, we live around imagines and I work with them. They come from advertisement, friendship or draw from real thing. All of them including the most real are including in a context, they belong to a representation, I´m not again with it. I choise them , because you can fell up today this doble mensage. Ideals of family, young, citizenship are present on the imagines and they are request at the movent. The paint must be look simple, but itsn´t. It developed in a between different symbol with the relation and contradiction, where the work is done. Is very important the way I use to paint and the apropiate distance that appear to be , to developed the idea that disturb my mind. I think that with the paint, with the view it can be show the idea that disturb my mind.
